Student-friendly and motivating! The concept of the new Trio series for middle schools in Bavaria, Grade 5, ideally combines content from the subjects of history, politics, and geography. The core competencies, competency areas, and content related to these competency areas outlined in the LehrplanPLUS for Bavarian middle schools are structured in a pedagogically and chronologically meaningful way and presented in a layout that caters to the reading habits of students. Special attention is given to student-appropriate texts and a motivating, differentiated, and contemporary task culture. The new Trio series is characterized by a wide range of project- and action-oriented content. Additionally, numerous learning materials are provided for independent practice, application, review, and deepening of knowledge. The thoughtfully placed connections between historical contexts are also emphasized.
