First, a buttercup, firmly anchored in the ground, swaying back and forth in the wind; then a tall red poppy with leaves as fine as silk; next, a flower on a bush shaped like a trumpet that smells incredibly good; and finally, the flower that blooms alone at the top of a mountain. After being a flower for long enough, he wants to be a woman and wear dresses in every color he can think of. In the end, he becomes a man again, going to Carnival as a flower meadow and thus finding his happiness.
