The little wolf wanders around the forest, bored. He is looking for a friend to play with. Then he spots a little squirrel. "Will you play with me?" asks the little wolf. "I'm sorry, my mom said I can't play with wolves," replies the squirrel and scurries away. The little wolf has the same experience with the bunny, the young fox, and the little bear. They all are afraid of him. This makes him very sad. Then he hears a voice: "Do you want to play with me?" The little wolf looks up and at first doesn't see where the voice is coming from. A tiny bee buzzes in front of him. "Aren't you afraid of me?" the wolf asks. "Why should I be? No! Come on, let's play hide and seek!" And even as the bee answers, she zooms off. The two play and have a great time. The joy of their game echoes throughout the forest. Gradually, the others join in.
