Based on Barthes' "Fragments of a Language of Love" and Foucault's "The Will to Knowledge," Didier Eribon pursues a political and theoretical position that these books share: the rejection of Freudo-Marxist currents after May 1968. This is understood as a normative power that neither grants independent significance to homosexuality nor to the position of women, and it continues to resonate today.
