Thin print edition of the two foundational volumes by Slavoj Žižek on German Idealism. The first German books by the Slovenian author Slavoj Žižek were published in the early 1990s. With the two volumes "The Sublime Object of Ideology" and "The Plague of Fantasies," he made a name for himself beyond his already somewhat known essays and was recognized as an excellent connoisseur of classical philosophy. The two volumes are united here in one book. Through Žižek's incorporation of psychoanalytic models, a surprising picture of Hegel emerges, calling for a reevaluation of German Idealism.
