The rescue cruiser Berlin (SK 36) and the rescue cruiser Anneliese Kramer (SK 37) are the newest and thus the most modern and powerful rescue ships of the German Society for the Rescue of Shipwrecked Persons (DGzRS). Together with the Ernst Meier Hedde, stationed in Amrum, they form the new 28-meter class, which replaces the proven 27.5-meter class. The construction of these maritime masterpieces has been documented by Peter Neumann, the renowned ship photographer, from day one, showcasing in impressive images how such a cruiser is built.
