Anna Battke, born on January 3, 1985, in Düsseldorf, is a German athlete specializing in pole vaulting. She began pole vaulting at the age of 19 in 2004, after having participated in various other sports during her childhood and youth, including swimming, horseback riding, and judo, in which she holds a brown belt. Her personal best outdoors is 4.68 meters, achieved at the ISTAF in Berlin in 2009. Indoors, she cleared 4.65 meters at the European Indoor Championships in Turin, Italy, in 2009, earning a bronze medal. At the 2008 World Indoor Championships in Valencia, she finished eighth in the final with a height of 4.45 meters (qualification: 4.50 meters).
