My father has a long-term affair with his running shoes. My mother has one with her paint pots. And me? I don't have an affair. I just have a brother. And he's crazy. What is it like to always have to be the stronger, the sensible one as the little sister? What is it like when the big brother lives not at home, but in a care facility, and the mother can't cope with the guilt? What is it like when you suddenly have to pick up this brother from the care facility all by yourself because there's a family celebration and the parents don't have time? What is it like when you're sitting on the train and briefly think that you'd much rather be going to the sea? And what is it like when you meet a Tom on that very train, a Tom with a saxophone, who is waiting in the train station hall, intentionally missing his connecting train?
