While there are numerous publications about what transactional analysis is, there is a significant gap in how transactional analysis can be applied in training. This collection of exercises aims to address that deficiency. Its structure corresponds to the classic concepts of transactional analysis (ego states, roles/scripts, transactions, games, life positions, etc.). Additionally, there are exercises for the beginning of the seminar, for which a uniform framework has been chosen that provides the trainer with all the information and objectives, duration, process, evaluation, and handling of each exercise. In total, the authors have gathered about 250 exercises; some they developed and tested themselves, some they encountered at conferences, and some they adapted from the hard-to-access American literature to fit German conditions. Only exercises with a clear objective were selected.
