This book offers in two volumes a wide range of problems from fluid mechanics with detailed pre-calculated solutions and is thus also a valuable aid in exam preparation. It is designed as an exercise book and aims to make the contents of the fluid mechanics lecture more comprehensible by means of numerous examples. The book is aimed primarily at students of mechanical, process and environmental engineering at technical colleges and universities. Based on the basic knowledge of the subject, the reader is given tasks to work on at various levels of difficulty - from short computational exercises to complex, multi-part application problems. The exercises cover important applications of the course. Special emphasis is placed on a clearly formulated problem definition, a comprehensible description of the procedure, and a clear and concise description of the problem.
