Empirical economic research, with a focus on an introduction to econometric methods and their applications in the fields of economics and business administration, has become an integral part of economic education in recent years. While there are now several textbooks presenting the necessary methods, there is still a lack of practice exercises. This book aims to help fill that gap. It covers the core area of empirical economic research. The set of exercises includes the fundamentals, the classical linear regression model, and key extensions. This book primarily pursues three goals. First, review questions are designed to show students whether they have understood the material and whether they are able to articulate the relationships both verbally and in writing.
