Environmental reporting documents the environmental impacts and burdens caused by a company. The goal is to reduce environmental consumption and thus lower costs. The book provides an overview of the current state of environmental reporting. The methods that have been applied so far are presented and critically examined. The authors derive a pragmatic concept for creating an environmental report or environmental declaration. They develop a guide for practitioners to create their own report and support them with tools such as checklists or process plans. At the same time, the book offers scientists a contribution to the standardization of environmental reporting and life cycle assessment.
