Wilting is a serious problem in castor bean cultivation in Gujarat. Systematic studies on this important pathogen under the conditions in South Gujarat have not yet been conducted. Given the severity of this disease and the economic significance of the crop in this region, it is necessary to generate the required information for appropriate management measures to minimize crop losses and to develop scientific knowledge on the following objectives: [1] Effectiveness of native bioactive substances against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ricini [2] Effectiveness of plant-based remedies against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ricini [3] Effect of various organic fertilizers/cakes against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. ricini [4] Management of wilting under pot conditions.
