The last two years before the turn of the millennium were a tumultuous time. We believed we could shake the world, change and steer it according to our visions, not realizing how the shadows of the past, our childhood, kept catching up with us. We finally felt independent and free, and no one could stop our drive to take action. We had jobs and earned good money. Everyone had fought for themselves for many years and was convinced they had no allies. Too late did we become aware of this misconception. This narrative is a story about wishes, dreams, and hopes, about family and happiness, and about the passion to achieve a goal.
