The focus of this volume is on the relationships between inequality conflicts and processes of Europeanization. How and when do inequality conflicts contribute to the transformation of European orders? To what extent are they produced by European legislation, state activities, or economic regulations? The authors examine not only the transformations of national inequality structures and the emergence of new, specifically European inequalities in their contributions. Above all, they also investigate the changes in situational interpretations and problem perceptions regarding social inequalities in the context of Europeanization.
