The British sailor and explorer James Cook (1728-1779) is primarily known for three major voyages across the Pacific. During these expeditions, he discovered numerous islands, which he measured and charted. He is credited with the accurate geographical description and surveying of the Pacific. This book contains the travel accounts of James Cook during his third and final expedition to the South Seas between 1776 and 1780.
