Product details
The Pied Piper of Hamelin is one of the most famous German legends. According to the tale, in the year 1284, a stranger appeared in Hamelin wearing a colorful, multicolored cloak, who freed the citizens of Hamelin from their great rat infestation with the power of his music. However, when he did not receive the promised reward, he lured all the children out of the town, and they disappeared forever. This is a carefully revised reprint of the original edition from 1884. The cover image is based on an illustration by Oskar Herrfurth.
