Product details
Ernst Wasserzieher (1860-1927) was a German etymologist and lexicographer who published many of his travel experiences in contemporary newspapers, including the Münchner Allgemeine Zeitung and the Hamburger Correspondent. These experiences were primarily gathered after his studies and during his military service. The present work, published in 1902, is a compilation of travel narratives created between 1878 and 1900. Ernst Wasserzieher takes the reader to various regions of the globe: from the Harz mountains to California, and from the Baltic states to Scotland. He beautifully describes the countries and cities he visited, expressing his feelings about them in an authentic and engaging manner.
