In the Anatolian Çukurova plain, nothing is as it used to be. The large landowners are infatuated with their new machines, and there seems to be no more work for people anywhere. Thus, a group of villagers wanders through dust, heat, and swarms of hellish mosquitoes. Eventually, they find their luck quite unexpectedly: in the field of the kind-hearted melon farmer.
