How does a simple investigator from the Bern cantonal police suddenly find himself in a Moroccan garrison post of the Foreign Legion? Glauser sends his sergeant Studer into the desert. There, he experiences a whirlwind of different emotions. Cultures clash. Studer also daydreams and occasionally forgets that he has a case to solve. He increasingly gets the impression that someone is playing a cruel game with him, the rules of which are foreign to him.
