Product details
Paris in 1890: Johanna van Gogh Bonger is married to Vincent van Gogh's younger brother Theo, who supports Vincent financially so that he can fully dedicate himself to his art. When the painter takes his own life, Theo soon dies as well, filled with deep sorrow. From then on, Johanna dedicates herself to van Gogh's extensive oeuvre and recognizes the significance of his works. Her life changes fundamentally as she immerses herself in van Gogh's correspondence with his brother and helps his art achieve success.
