With a small coastal freighter, the mysterious Captain Marcel sails around the world. Restlessly, he wanders, never truly arriving anywhere. In four ports, he encounters four people whose lives he changes forever. He gives them hope and then disappears without a trace. Unbeknownst to each other, the ones left behind try to track him down.
