Product details
Unchanged edition. Between 1917 and 1922, an independent autonomous people's movement emerged in Ukraine during the Russian Revolution - the Makhnovshchina. Despite constant attacks from the counter-revolutionary generals Denikin and Wrangel, it succeeded, under the leadership of Nestor Makhno, in establishing a community that functioned for four years without parties, exploitation, or oppression, until the Red Army under Trotsky crushed the free communes and agricultural collectives.
