The teaching model described in this book relates to the art and society theory developed by Goethe and Schiller around 1800. It addresses the still relevant issue of how art can prevent the descent of the bourgeois competitive and achievement-oriented society into barbarism. Goethe poetically presents this theory in the prologue to the theater. The teacher's book of the model includes a lesson unit that formulates well-founded tasks for working groups and presents their possible solutions through detailed interpretations and diagrams. The poetic and philosophical texts referenced in the tasks are compiled in the text book intended for the students.
