Georg Stefan Troller, born in 1921 in Vienna, emigrated to France in 1938 and then to the USA. He has been living in Paris since 1949. He became famous in the 1960s with the television show "Pariser Journal." After that, his "Personenbeschreibung" aired for more than two decades. Troller has directed significant documentaries such as "Mord aus Liebe," "Unter Deutschen," and "Amok," and has published numerous books. In May 2005, he received the Literature Prize from the Theodor Kramer Society in Vienna.
