The wizard Abra Kadabra Bim has enrolled his son in the first grade. This worries Principal Häusler quite a bit. Won't this throw the whole school into chaos? Will notebooks start disappearing, brooms fly through the air, and teachers get hexed with long noses? What actually happens is truly astonishing. Simsala just wants to be a completely normal student. But that's not so easy for him. In the end, Father Bim has to resort to a special magic trick to restore peace in the school.
