The diverse climbing possibilities in limestone and granite in such a small area are probably unique in the entire Alpine region. The routes presented range from the dolomite-like limestone pinnacles in the Urner Boden to the Schächental and Maderanertal valleys and on to the Titlis. The granite areas Göscheneralp, Urseren and Meiental round off the offer. The book presents 360 alpine sport and free climbs in the middle and upper pleasure range. Some routes, however, go beyond the scope of this book. All routes are presented in detail with topo and picture.
