All the toner types we use are tailored to the specific requirements of our systems. UTAX original toner is neither toxic nor carcinogenic, meaning that proper use is safe. The necessary testing procedures are conducted in recognized laboratories according to the so-called AMES test method. The results are documented in the corresponding safety data sheets.

Some of our copying, printing, and fax systems feature a closed toner system that avoids any direct contact with the toner. In these advanced systems, toner residues are no longer generated at all. Empty toner cartridges are considered packaging material and are taken back free of charge by our authorized dealers.
