Fundamentals of literacy acquisition and knowledge about the causes of reading and writing disorders (RWD) form the basis for understanding the issues and successfully supporting affected children and adolescents. This book provides comprehensible linguistic information on the principles of German orthography, as well as on early detection, diagnostics, support, prevention, and intervention for RWD. Common support programs are presented in an overview regarding their structure, content, and objectives.
