The study book introduces central themes and areas of pedagogy. Important pedagogical key terms are explained fundamentally. Fields of action within the local education landscape, such as early childhood education, schools, youth services, and adult education, are presented and examined from the perspective of various pedagogical sub-disciplines, particularly social pedagogy and school pedagogy. The intradisciplinary focus primarily addresses the changing relationships between educational science disciplines as well as practical design issues, such as the collaboration between schools and accompanying support systems.
