One hundred years later, with the grim toll of millions of dead and traumatized individuals, the challenge has shifted from the promises of the communist project to mitigating its long-term consequences and transgenerational psychological traumas. Yet, while mourning the lost utopia and remembering its victims has barely begun, we continue to experience, even today, the tragic allure of political salvation doctrines.
