This textbook presents German and European antitrust law comprehensively and clearly. It addresses the competition rules of the Treaty on the Functioning of the European Union (TFEU) as well as the most significant EU antitrust references, the important regulations for European and German merger control that are relevant for practice, the provisions of the GWB following the enactment of the 8th GWB amendment, the legal consequences of antitrust violations with particular attention to antitrust civil law, as well as the antitrust authorities and procedures.
