Over the past twenty years, competence in dealing with modern media has also become important. Although addiction developments have a strong societal, social, and familial component, there is usually an individually understandable and intervention-accessible psychodynamic aspect. Therefore, alongside all established educational and behavioral therapeutic measures, a fundamental psychodynamic approach is particularly significant for the overall understanding and therapy planning, especially in cases of severe comorbidity.
