Frank Natho presents in this book a selection of working methods with animal figures that have proven effective in counseling practice and family therapy. Theoretical backgrounds and methodological steps are described. Case examples and illustrations illustrate the methodological approach. Chapter 2 explains how animal figures can be used in family diagnostics. Chapter 3, which focuses on the assembly of feelings in animal figures, describes a specific form of grief work with children. Additionally, various psychological and therapeutic concepts of multiplicity are introduced and discussed. These concepts form the basis for the use of animal figures in working with different personality parts. Chapter 4 presents another form of partial work, the conversation with the inner "lazy" self, as a method for systemic addiction work.
