Intra Texts and Exercises I includes 25 lessons. Through coherent, child-friendly, and engaging texts written in artistic Latin, fundamental aspects of morphology and syntax are introduced. Where appropriate, the new grammatical material is presented in optional pre-texts (Intra!) using familiar vocabulary and content. The reading passages cover topics related to Roman daily life, Greek and Roman mythology, and Roman history. Varied and motivating tasks, often holistic and action-oriented, serve both text work and the practice of forms, sentence structures, and vocabulary. The task section of each lesson begins with introductory tasks related to the text. Additional exercises for the reading piece ensure comprehension, gently introduce interpretive methods, and encourage connections to real-life contexts.
