Intra Texts and Exercises I includes 25 lessons. Through coherent, child-friendly, and engaging texts written in "Art Latin," fundamental aspects of morphology and syntax are introduced. Where appropriate, new grammatical material is presented in optional pre-texts (Intra!) using familiar vocabulary and content. The reading pieces cover topics related to Roman daily life, Greek and Roman mythology, and Roman history. Varied, motivating tasks, often holistic and action-oriented, serve both text work and the practice of forms, sentence structures, and vocabulary. The task section of each lesson in Intra begins with introductory tasks related to the text. Additional tasks related to the reading piece ensure comprehension, gently introduce interpretation methods, and encourage creative production.
