Venus and Mars correspond in astrology to the two poles of our ability to encounter and form partnerships: they are symbols of Eros and sexuality - the emotional and the sexual love. In traditional astrology, the horoscopes of partners are compared. Michael Roscher takes a different approach: he analyzes the Venus and Mars configurations in the individual horoscope and derives the corresponding partnership profile as well as the ability to enter into and shape relationships. All Venus and Mars configurations are commented on with special consideration of the house themes. Discussions of example horoscopes illustrate the respective profiles. Roscher's interpretations go far beyond what can be found in astrological literature on this topic.
