To investigate and understand the current-voltage behavior of a lithium-ion battery, its impedance must be analyzed in the low-frequency range. This work addresses measurement, modeling, and model validation in this low-frequency range and introduces a novel tool for analyzing the capacity contributions of different particle sizes and types within a lithium-ion battery using the distribution function of differential capacitance (DDC).
