It is not easy to say what nonsense is. One might say: it lies somewhere between foolishness and normal behavior. However, the difficulty lies in distinguishing nonsense from normal behavior. For the latter, we don't even have a German word, as health is certainly not the appropriate term. "Vollsinnig" refers to the senses, not to meaning, "scharfsinnig" indicates a development of meaning beyond the norm, and "geradsinnig" pertains to moral behavior. In everyday life, we have the opposites: clever and foolish; a clever person is one who can differentiate, while the foolish lack critical judgment. Friendly and unfriendly participation has also found its way into the third edition. It has been shown that this text can be very effectively used as a reagent for female judgment.
