This work contains various lectures delivered by Franz Brentano, among others, at the International Congress of Psychologists in Munich in 1896. The lectures include: "On Phenomenal Green," in which the author discusses the frequent use of red-green in painting, the dual meaning of the incompatibility of colors, and the diminishing incompatibility under reduced light. "On Individuation, Multiple Quality, and Intensity of Sensory Appearances." This lecture presents important analogies across all sensory domains, the spatial extension of sound phenomena, and the confusion between the physical and the psychological. Another lecture is titled: "On the Psychological Analysis of Tone Qualities into Their Fundamental Elements."
