As if the exhibits in a cabinet of curiosities had suddenly come to life: In Lea Schneider's debut "Invasion Rückwärts," druids in tracksuits gather, a lingering hiccup, and a reverse flokati. We encounter peacock effects and the uncontrollable: objects dissolve, shifts occur continuously, seemingly following a surreal dream logic. The sky becomes a blue spot in the back of the knee, islands turn into footnotes from the mainland, and desire transforms into a way of life. In between, people move and leaf through the bodies of a "provisional we." In search of ways to interact with each other and the rebellious objects, they discover a "universally applicable autumn," a "necessary act of beauty," and a place where cows go when they have run out. Time and again, the question arises, who is here.
