Since there are already numerous very good aerodynamic works in German aviation literature, but quite few that contain constructive materials, this book, which primarily addresses the constructive side, is intended for all aircraft builders, engineers, and students. It provides students with long-awaited materials for design exercises and offers engineers in practice various inspirations. This work has emerged from lectures on the topic of aircraft design that I conduct as a systematic assistant for aircraft construction to guide exercises at the Chair of Flight Technology at the Technical University of Hanover. My experience in the German aviation industry has shaped my views on modern German aircraft construction, so I also consider the practical applications for the Air Force.
