Anja Herrmann, born on October 4, 1980, in Gelenau/Erzgeb., is a German journalist and television presenter. She studied media communication at the Technical University of Chemnitz, graduating in 2003 with a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) and, after an additional postgraduate program, in 2006 with a Master of Arts (M.A.). During her studies, she spent time abroad and worked at various print and radio editorial offices, including Freie Presse, Radio PSR, and Radio UNiCC. From 2003 to 2008, she was employed as an editor and presenter/news anchor at Sachsen Fernsehen 09111 Studio Chemnitz. In September 2008, she transitioned to Dresden Fernsehen as the studio manager.
