We work with ourselves, with our psyche, but without seeking an answer. We go deeper and deeper, until there are no answers left. Ultimately, we are simply hopeless. This hopelessness is the essence of crazy wisdom. It is about simply living what one is. Seeing things as they are. Observing what is happening in our minds, directly, simply, and completely truthfully. Yet even in this hopelessness, there is nothing comforting. Not a single reference point remains. This process of going deeper and discovering recharges itself, allowing us to continue and go deeper and deeper: this process - that is crazy wisdom. It is what defines a saint in the Buddhist tradition.
