This book presents models from the field of artificial intelligence that make it possible to replicate and subsequently analyze human understanding processes. These models deal, among other things, with the reconstruction of forensic texts and the modeling of news comprehension. Artificial neural networks are employed, which are introduced in this book. In addition to the descriptions of the models, the book also offers the reader the opportunity to participate in an experiment to map a comprehension process. This way, the reader can relate the results described from an initial study to their own outcomes, ultimately discovering what the experiment's results reveal about their own understanding process.
