André Stachowiak, born on December 26, 1970, in Duisburg, is a German football referee. Stachowiak is a laboratory manager in quality assurance. He lives in Duisburg and is single. A member of MTV Union Hamborn, Stachowiak was a DFB referee from 1999 to 2008 and officiated matches in the 2. Bundesliga since 2001, having refereed 47 games by the end of the 2006/07 season. In the 1. Bundesliga, he served as an assistant referee alongside Lutz Wagner. Stachowiak has had international assignments, including a U-20 international match between Germany and France, as well as serving as the fourth official in senior international matches between Germany and Colombia on June 2, 2006, the last test match of the German team before the World Cup, on June 4, 2006, in the friendly match Turkey against Macedonia, and on March 28, 2007, in the match between Germany and Denmark in his hometown of Duisburg.
