Man is locked up in a prison of conditioning, how "one" has to be, what "one" does, what "one" expects from him, what "one" thinks of him, etc. Man "fights" for everything and anything, for his reputation, for his money, for his health, his safety, his job or whatever. Lightness, lust for life and zest for life usually fall by the wayside. When we thoroughly clean our house, when we free ourselves from the thicket of our conditioning, when we finally clean up and ban the famous "man" from our life, when we lose the worry about how others think about us, when we overcome the fear of losing our partner, our job or even our money, when we find the measure within ourselves and not in the outside, this can be something like our second birth. But this change can only ever come from within.
