The analysis presented here on the topic of the city after the "city" examines how imaginary forces become effective in selected spatial images of the urban environment. The term spatial image has different meanings. On one hand, it refers to spatial metaphors, that is, linguistic images of space. In addition to these linguistically mediated spatial concepts, there is also media mediation in non-verbal signs and symbol systems, which in turn create images of spaces that particularly influence spatial concepts and real spaces.
