The book "Video Analytics for Audience Measurement" offers a comprehensive collection of expert reports presented at the 1st International Workshop VAAM 2014 in Stockholm. The 10 revised full texts were carefully selected from 13 submissions and provide deep insights into the latest methods for audience measurement in retail and digital signage. The aim of the workshop was to provide an overview of the current state of the art and to promote the development of suitable benchmark datasets that can serve as references for the development of novel algorithms for audience measurement.
