Product details

This work originated from my master's thesis "Le Corbusier: Poeme Electronique. Studies on the Philips Pavilion, World Exhibition Brussels 1958," which I submitted at the University of Hamburg in 1984. It could not have been written without a study stay in Paris funded by the German Academic Exchange Service and a two-year doctoral scholarship from the University of Hamburg, for which I owe the recommendation of Professor Martin Warnke. He supervised my work with patience and care. I am also greatly indebted to Dr. Fritz Jacobs, who sparked my interest in Le Corbusier and has always been supportive in clarifying many issues. Insights into the working organization at Le Corbusier's studio were provided by former employees, for whose willingness to converse I would like to express my gratitude here.
